If you're looking for authentic New York-style pizza in Paris, Jay's Pizza is it. Since returning from NYC, I've tried nearly every spot claiming to offer legit NY slices, and this is the only one that truly hits the mark. My go-to is the pepperoni, though the Popeye slice is also great. Still hoping they bring back the onion pizza (part of their monthly rotating specials) which I genuinely miss.
The staff is consistently friendly, and while prices are on the higher side (especially compared to New York's $1 slices), I've never regretted a single euro spent here.
Funny story, I first discovered Jay’s Pizza through an Instagram ad showcasing their "Rubi" slice (tomato sauce with a zigzag of pesto), which seemed exactly like the kind of pretentious Parisian nonsense I'd usually avoid. Out of skeptical curiosity, I clicked through anyway, and stopped dead the second I saw their pepperoni slice. I visited literally the next day, and upon taking my first bite, nearly cried.
Turns out Jay’s was the real deal, and I've been hooked ever since.
